One exciting thig that happened this week was when my family and I went to The Lion king Play. At first I didn't know what to expect. My parents just told me that "it is going to be something that you will never forget." So I cramed in all of my homework and we were off to the play. Right when it began there were people dressed like birds, monkeys ,giraffes, andzebra who came flooding throught the theater. The acteresses had amazingly strong voices and the coustumes were amazing as well. It was incredible how much work went into a single preformance that lasted 2 and a half hours. The main actors had so many lines to memorize along with the dances and solos. Also, the technology that went into the play was cool to watch. There was this big foam plant in one scene where it first appeared out of no where and this lady/monkey character came swinging on a branch and when the scenes changed it took only 3 seconds. My favorite part of the play was Symba's solo and how strong his voice was and when they sang the Hakuta Mattata song. My face was glued to the stage. I will never forget this experience and I am glad and fortunate that I got to go.
