Reflection on Fahrenheit 451

As a langauge arts class we are reading the novel Fahrenheit 451. So far the book is set in the future but involves the 1950s. Right now we have just started the book but it is very interesting. Usually, I do not like books likes these set in the futre. The main characters name is Guy Monta. He has been living in a technology world where understanding, knowledge , passion, and creativity are uncommon. Guy, is a fire fighter who sets fires, instead of blowing them out. Guy Montag's reality starts to change when he meets a 17 year old girl named Clarisse. So far this is all that I have read but I am excited to read more and gain a new perspective!
