Day 3 with Crutches.(Slow as a turtle)

This week has not been easy. Having crutches has really bugged me and I wish I did not have to use them. One thing that really made me frusterated was how slow I am with crutches. I was just crutching my way to the car from the parking lot and there was this old people that beat me. That by far did not lighten my day because I am use to sprinting or running from place to place. Also, there are a lot of stairs between the first floor of my house to my room so it is a challenge in its own. In addition, I do not like the negative attention that it may bring and I feel silly using them. In contrast, I have had a new appreciation for people who have disabilities because these few weeks that I have to use crutches, is nothing compared to there struggles that they have to face for the rest of their lives. In conclusion, even though I do not like using crutches, it has given me a new appreciation for poeple and I can not wait to get it off.
